Picking a photographer can be nerve wracking! It can be hard to find someone you are comfortable with, captures all the moments you want, and manages to also capture the best candids. With Dena, you don't have to worry about any of that. From the moment I first emailed her she was so warm and personable, it was like meeting with an old friend. She was so kind and walked us through the entire process, she listened to all of our wants, and gave us all we asked for and more! If you decide to go with Dena, you will not be disappointed.

Dena exceeded our expectations while photographing our ceremony and couple/bridal party photos for our September wedding. She was so creative, receptive to our vision, & went above and beyond to ensure we had the photos we so greatly desired. She surprised us by taking photos of myself (the bride), bridesmaids, the groom, & the groomsmen prior to the ceremony beginning. This was something we never talked about, but are so grateful for. Those are some of my favorite photos from our special day. Dena was everything we could have asked for and we were so lucky that she was our photographer for our wedding.

Dena was absolutely everything we could have ever hoped for. From the very beginning, she listened to what we wanted. Our wedding was in the Pittsburgh area, but we live about 90 minutes away. Without hesitation, Dena offered to drive to us for our engagement session. She even drove up to the park earlier in the week to scout good photo locations. On top of all of this, we planned for part of our engagement shoot to be somewhat silly- wearing taco shirts and eating tacos as if on a picnic. Dena checked in several times to make sure we had all thing thins we needed: blanket, picnic basket, and even plastic bags to put under the blanket since it was wet out. Dena was very easy going and easy to work with. Our personalities just meshed. I wasn’t always the quickest at emails (sorry Dena if you’re reading this!), but she always followed up to make sure everything was in order. I always felt at ease when communicating with her which made me sure I’d be okay with having her around on our big day. On the day of the wedding, she arrived early and started taking pictures before I even knew she was there. We didn’t have a long list of “must have” photos, but Dena made sure we got them all. I can’t tell you how many of our guests said that it felt like our photographer was everywhere, and we were at a sprawling outside venue. But even so, if something was happening, Dena got a picture of it. Our photos clearly show that. The end results basically speak for themselves. We have over a thousand photos that capture our day better than we could ever imagine. We also have a handful of small gifts from Dena that she sent along the way. I think the biggest praise comes from my now husband who famously didn’t have an opinion on anything wedding. As I told him I was writing this he said, “Dena was my favorite vendor.”

Dena was an absolute pleasure to work with! She went above and beyond for us before, during, and after our wedding! She made me and my husband feel so comfortable and she captured everything I could have imagined and more with her photos. She made suggestions and was really thoughtful. Our album was AWESOME! If you want someone to put your mind at ease on your wedding day, go with Low Key Love. Dena was the absolute best!

We were so glad to use Low-Key Love for our wedding. Dena spent a lot of time getting to know us, personally, before our wedding, and so her photos reflect our personalities and wedding style. She was simultaneously so fun to be around day-of and totally inconspicuous; even when we were taking portraits I never felt like we were being directed or posed, and her guidance for our whole - large and loud! - wedding party made everything feel relaxed. That mood shows in our photos. Our wedding album is like living our day all over, from the thoughtful detail shots to our ceremony to the dance floor. Dena was also incredibly sensitive to our religious ceremony, checking with us in advance where and when we would like photographs to happen during the mass. Though we had never met in person, Dena made enough time for me over the phone to make sure we knew each other by wedding day, so when she showed up in the morning it was like seeing an old friend! She truly made us feel so comfortable and natural during all of the photos, and the end result is an album that feels so true to our day and our relationship.

I can't stress enough how awesome it was to work with Dena-Low Key Love for our engagement and wedding photography! Dena provides amazing photos at an affordable price. She helps to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. She's discrete but somehow manages to catch every moment! Organized, professional, detailed, punctual and without a doubt goes above and beyond to make everything perfect - highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Low Key Love for wedding photography. Not only is Dena professional and sweet to work with but her artistic vision produces stunning photographs! Each moment of our wedding was captured with us hardly noticing she was there. She did a great job guiding us through our posed photos and was patient while we tried to corral our various family members together for group shots. Dena's candid photo work is outstanding! I LOVE the photos she took during the speeches, the reactions on everyones faces are priceless. We now have wonderful momentos from our wedding that we can cherish for the rest of our lives! Dena also loves to surprise her clients with gifts! From the lunch she treated us to at our first meeting through the pre-wedding guides and the post wedding ornaments she clearly has fun with her work and enjoys spoiling her clients. Thank you Dena, we love you!

Words can not describe the gratitude that my husband and I have for Dena & Low-Key Love. From our initial meeting to the wedding Dena was there to listen and help us with anything we needed, sometimes it didn't even pertain to photography! She always made herself available to us and was very transparent the entire time. My husband and I planned the entire wedding ourselves so to say that Dena relieved pressure off of us is an understatement. I would highly recommend Dena and Low-Key Love to any newly engaged couple, you won't be disappointed! Thank you Dena!!

It was clear from our initial meeting that Dena would be the perfect photographer for her wedding. Her previous work speaks for itself. We loved how creative and natural our photos came out. Some of our favorites are the ones we didn’t even know she was taking! The whole experience from beginning to end has been really great. She surpassed expectations and really made us feel like more than just a client.

Dena was truly the best photographer anyone could ask for on their day. Not only did she perform the task of “best photographer EVER,” she also was key to keeping me calm and on schedule. Dena makes one feel entirely comfortable and at ease. She makes each bride feel super important before/during/after the day and her pictures are breathtaking. We loved every image. Added bonus, Dena surprised us by donating some of her earnings last year to charity. If you are looking for a detail oriented and attentive photographer, look no further!

We love how Dena made us feel comfortable through the entire experience. Even though we were planning our wedding from out of town, she took the time to meet with us when we were in town and was flexible with communicating with us by email and phone. Dena also helped to ease our minds the day of our wedding. Her relaxed nature put us at ease and it showed in our photographs! After receiving our pictures, we were so happy to relive the day and we couldn't believe that there was only one photographer for the day! Dena captured every moment!
